( votes)Ultra Sonic Mouse Repellent and More
Fact: we despise any rats or mice in our homes. We abhor them. Not only are they dirty and downright disgusting, but they are also carriers of potentially fatal diseases such as Leptospirosis and Lyme Disease.
That is why there is a need to rid and protect our homes from these pesky pests. The Victor M792 Heavy-Duty Sonic PestChaser is an ultra sonic mouse repellent capable of vanquishing the most resilient of pests.
Victor Pestchaser, the Powerful Electronic Mouse Repellent
The Pest Chaser has dimensions of 4 x 6.6 x 9.8 inches and weighs a sizable 1.5 pounds.
As the name implies, this ultra sonic mouse repellent is designed for heavy usage – with more than twice the power of most electronic repellers is the market, this boom-box looking device is built to cover and protect large areas such as kitchens, garages, attics, and basements.
I can easily say that it is one of the most powerful (if not the most powerful) electronic pest control devices in the market.
Like most ultrasonic pest repellers, the Pest Chaser emits random and high-frequency sounds, ranging from 32,000 and 62,000 Hertz that is inaudible to the human ear but will certainly drive rodents away.
This is a chemical-free method of driving pests away so you can use this even when children or pets are around.
This beastly unit has 2 speakers that provide maximum coverage and output which will give you very fast results, usually around 6-10 days. It has a 6 foot cord which is fairly long compared to other repellers, so you can find the most ideal placement.
Since the sound emitted cannot be heard, a LED light functions as an indicator so you can tell that it is working as it should be. Estimated service life varies from 5-7 years (we’re still ongoing with lifespan experiments), though some testimonials claim that it is much longer. The Flipside
Although the product says that the sound is inaudible to human hearing, there have been some reports that their units emit a faint buzzing sound. What’s more. like most ultrasonic pest repellers, immediate riddance of the pests is not a guarantee.
Some reports claim that their mice problems were gone immediately, while some took about a week before there was progress. It might depend on how bad the mice infestation is.
Plug it in…then forget about it
This unit is a rodent-based repeller so if you have a roach or insect infestation, this may or may not work for you. You can opt for Black & Decker EP1100-A, an ultrasonic pest repeller that specifically target roaches and insects and consequently Pest Repeller Center’s best seller.
Like most ultrasonic pest repellers, the time it takes to completely get rid of the pests in your home may vary depending on how long they have been staying or how well they can adapt to environmental changes. It might take 6-10 days before you dramatic results so you have to be a little patient.
Highly Recommended Against Mice
I’d recommend this to people who don’t want to bother with any kind of installation process. The Pest Chaser is an ultrasonic mouse repellent that you only have to plug in…and then forget. That’s how easy it is to use! Also, with its 6-foot cord that can be plugged in on any normal AC outlet, you have a lot of placement options.
Overall, the Pest Chaser is an ultrasonic pest repeller mice won’t be happy with. It is definitely a recommended product to have if you have mice or rat infestation in your home.

I’m thinking about using this product for my client’s restaurant. The restaurant is quite big, therefore I need to know the range of this product. What is the range on this repellent and would you recommend that I apply it in a restaurant?
Hey Ethan, I think the PestChaser is perfect for this application, especially for keeping pests away from the kitchen. While I was unable to find a specific range, I did notice that they offer a multi-pack at a pretty good price.
You may also consider an outdoor pest repeller to further drive away pests considering your intended application.

Is this effective for bats? I believe they winter in the walls of our 130-yr-old home. Thank you.
Hey Kim, I don’t know that the Victor will be especially effective against bats. But let me point you to a product specifically designed to work against bats. This is a review we had scheduled to release in a couple weeks but I actually published it just now so that I can better address your question. Give it a once over and see if it’ll be better suited for your needs.
