That’s not all though, if some gnat is pregnant, she can produce up to three hundred more (she’s a real slayer.) Get rid of them as soon as you can!

- Purchase A Gnat trap
If you don’t want a long and complicated method, you can always go to a mall and buy a trap to get it over with. You have to make sure that the brand is pretty solid.
If you’re going to check out methods, it would be best for you to purchase Gnat Stix (I know, they remind me of chocolate sticks as well.)
The way that it’s being made is to go on head to head with gnats. They work to trap the gnats the moment they go out from the soil. With this one, there’s no need to grab pesticides. This works perfectly.
- Vinegar To The Rescue
Homemade techniques are always the best. Well, because you don’t have to spend money. This is considered to be a to-go method. You’re going to be in need of a number of materials, but you don’t have to go anywhere to complete them.
For the most part, you need apple cider vinegar as your key ingredient. However, you’d also need as spoonful of sugar, soap you use for your dishes, and of course something to mix them up.
Inside the container you can go and combine 2 tablespoons of vinegar and the sugar as well. You’re going to need liquid soap, but it’s only going to be a number of drops. The entire thing wouldn’t be complete without water.
You can then shake it properly for a good minute. The container should be in a place where there are a ton of gnats. This is important so that you won’t be wasting your solution.
The purpose of the vinegar is to lure them in with its smell. The moment they’re in the trap, they’ll automatically be waiting for death to consume them due to the mixture of the soap.
Here’s a neat idea: If you aren’t sure where there location is, getting a number of containers and distributing them equally around the house is the best way to do it.
- Bleach
There’s a chance that they are secretly breeding themselves inside the drainage. Bleach, like anyone would think, is dangerous. It’s an overkill, but pouring it down ensures their death.
Also, it also take cares of the problem when you are dealing with drain flies. Just remember to protect yourself as well with a protection covering your eyes and mouth.
Wrapping It Up!
Gnats aren’t friendly. Not to mention they reproduce like crazy! It’s better to take care of them as soon as you can. For my case, I would go for the Vinegar trick as there are plenty of vinegar bottles at home.
I wouldn’t mind using bleach, but it’s better to try a safer option.
