Okay, I know that these guys are small. But it has been a known fact that they are the HARDEST to get rid of. In fact, if you live in California, you’d be surprised to know that there are 270 different species of them. They are a pest to deal with as they destroy our landscape.

Let’s Start It Off With Extermination
This is quite popular within households. You can do so by starting to apply earth that’s diatomaceous. Ideally, you should spread it evenly throughout your yard to do the trick. More than anything else, you prioritize areas where there are a lot of ants.
After you’ve found its concentration, you can kill them by pouring it down into their nests – they’ll slowly start to die.
Of course, in order for you to avoid death or illnesses as well, it’s recommended that you’re going to wear a mask for prevention. You can take it off after your application.
I wouldn’t say that it’s a lovely way to kill ants as its method can be a bit brutal. It goes into your victim’s exoskeleton and spiracles. Immediately, upon contact, it suffocates them to death.
While they find it hard to breathe, their moisture is being sucked out, giving them a cruel and instant death.
Dish Soap and Canola Oil
Now, on how to do our little experimentation. You can start by mixing up a half of a teaspoon of dish soap. Make sure that this is liquid. In order to complete the mixture, add in at least 1 ½ of canola oil.
You should measure it using a tablespoon. It isn’t complete without a quart of water. Pour it in a mixing bowl. You need to find a whisk at your home as this is most recommended.
After you have done the process above, get a spray bottle – any should do – and place a funnel. Later on, make sure to add your newly made solution right away.
To properly mix them up together, shake for at least a minute. That should do the trick. And you’ve got yourself an instant solution. Concentrate on areas which there are a lot of ants and downpour it with your solution.
Like the one above, this isn’t a lovely way to die. It gets into their exoskeleton. Soap suds can be deadly to ants, making them incapacitated, and slowly waiting for their death thru suffocation.
Cayenne Pepper Sauce
Here’s another trick to use if you don’t have any materials of the other two above. You can do it by grabbing at least three tablespoons of pepper sauce. After you have secured it, ½ teaspoon should be incorporated with dish soap.
Ideally, you should get at least a quart of water. Just like the method before this one, go grab a whisk and a bowl. The process is pretty quick, you can go ahead and place it inside your bottle.
Shake it before doing anything else, the soap and capsicum does the trick. But it kills the ants differently this time, it does so by smothering and burning their souls – if they have any. You should go directly to their nests and pour it down.
